What Is The After Care Project ?

The After Care Project is a community initiative rooted in compassion, connection, and advocacy.

The After Care Project is a community-rooted initiative founded by Aarielle Heredia to support families through life’s tender transitions — including postpartum, foster care, adoption, miscarriage, and infertility.

Born from lived experience, the project was created to fill the gap in care that often follows birth, placement, or loss. It exists to ensure families aren’t left to navigate those “after” moments alone.

Because every stage of motherhood and life deserves aftercare, we are committed to holding space for the healing, grief, and growth beyond the milestone.

Our Mission + Why We Exist

Who We Support. . .

We support families through:

Postpartum recovery (physical, emotional, mental care)

Foster and adoptive transitions

Miscarriage and infant loss awareness

Uplifting underserved mothers and communities

We believe healing doesn't stop at delivery, placement, or loss that's when it often begins.
